Kudvumisa Foundation is positively impacting the health of people in eastern Lubombo region in Swaziland. The staff and volunteers are having a tremendous impact in the isolated and marginalized communities of eastern Swaziland. Jessie, a volunteer community health nurse with Kudvumisa spearheaded this cervical cancer screening outreach. Kudvumisa coordinated a cervical cancer screening day for women from the communities CHIPS serves. Help from Swaziland Breast and Cervical Cancer Network, Ministry of Health’s Lomahasha Clinic, and Joyce Meyer Ministries made this first day possible. Many women were screened, HIV services were provided, the Gospel was shared! Cervical cancer prevalence correlates with HIV prevalence. Late detection and treatment usually has a poor prognosis. A cervical cancer screening day was held yesterday at the Kudvumisa Clinic building! Many women were screened and blessed!
The work the Kudvumisa staff do with excellence and compassion is having a lasting impact in this area. –Bringing Life to the isolated, marginalized and impoverished–
