About Daran & Teresa Rehmeyer
Daran and Teresa have served in Eswatini since 2005. Their initial work with under-served children in the urban areas pointed to a dire problem for children, their caregivers, and most of the population that lives outside the catchments of the government health care system. Impoverished, isolated and marginalized, these children and caregivers were dying only because they lacked the ability to access the “distant” health care in the urban centers.
In 2008, with the help of another American missionary, they began CHIPS in Maphiveni. Hundreds of children and their caregivers in Maphiveni and Vuvulane are alive and healthy today because of CHIPS.
Daran and Teresa continue with the vision of providing compassionate health care to these impoverished and isolated areas while also developing the means for individuals to escape the grip of poverty.
